Membership
Section 1 - Voting
All action regarding membership acceptance or dismissal shall be by the vote of the church.
Every member of the church is entitled to vote at all elections and on all questions
submitted to the church conference.
Section 2 - Membership
Any person professing faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and willing to accept the aims and
ideals of the church may be received into membership, after scriptural baptism by
.
Immersion.
Section 2 a - Admission by Letter. Statement or Restoration
Any person may, by a majority vote of the members present, at any of its worship
services, unite with this church by watch care until letter from a Baptist church of
like faith and order can be secured. If said letter cannot be secured after two requests
of within sixty days, the person will be received on statement, accepting the aims and
ideals of the church.
Section 3 - Transfer of Members
Any member, upon the request of a Baptist church of like faith and order shall
be granted a letter to that church. Such letters of transfer shall be given or sent
only to the pastor or clerk to which the member has presented himself
herself for membership.
